VILLE DE LONGUEUIL Respondent DECISION THE REQUEST FOR REVIEW [1] Mr. Lloyd Glasspole Ennis, represented by Mr. Richard Anthony Breakenridge, requested from Greenfield Park, Saint-Hubert and Brossard in identical letters dated April 1, 2002: all information the above recipient control; And have (and had) a greater intrest in, about the SUBJECT; Including the following information : all personal information which concerns the SUBJECT, a list of all persons who have consulted information which concerns the SUBJECT, a list of categories of persons who were exempted from registering when they consulted information which concerns the SUBJECT. (sic)
Page: 2 [2] On May 4, 2002, not having received a response, Mr. Breakenridge requested the Commission d'accès à l'information (the "Commission") to review these unanswered requests. THE PROOF AND ARGUMENTS i) The public body [3] The City of Longueuil, responding for the boroughs of Greenfield Park, Saint-Hubert and Brossard, stated in a letter dated July 30, 2002 and signed by the person responsible for access, M e Carole Leroux, that there was no information contained in the files of the protection and emergency services of these boroughs, concerning Mr. Ennis. ii) The applicant [4] The Commission informed the applicant that given this information, it was prepared to close the file. [5] The applicant stated, in a letter dated December 15, 2002, that he would make no further representations at this point. DECISION [6] The representative of the City, a lawyer who thereby engages her professional responsibility, has stated that no information exists in the City of Longueuil protection and emergency service files concerning the applicant.
